Texas State University has partnered with Zipcar to offer Bobcats self-serve, on-demand car-sharing on campus. To use Zipcars simply register as a member then reserve a car online or by phone. Gas and insurance are always included in the low hourly and daily rates.

CARTS

Providing regional transportation for the non-urbanized areas of Bastrop, Blanco, Burnet, Caldwell, Fayette, Hays, Lee, Travis and Williamson counties & the San Marcos urbanized area.

Amtrak

San Marcos is served by the Texas Eagle, which travels daily between Chicago and San Antonio traveling through major cities like Austin and Dallas.
